SCCT, Navi Mumbai Facilities and Infrastructure

College Building:

The college has seven storied modern buildings having a total built-up area of 70,000 sqft. to 1,00,000 sqft. It has spacious, well-ventilated classrooms, offices, laboratories, staff rooms, media labs, and computer labs which are fully air-conditioned and well-maintained. More than 60 classrooms are available. Most of the classrooms have a capacity of 120 students. For the convenience of the staff and students, two lifts are available with a power generator. Fire safety is fixed on every floor. For the safety of the college, CCTV is also fixed in various places.

Computer Center:

The SCCT Department has a well-equipped Three Computer Laboratory (having areas of 100 sqft,60 sqft, and 60 sqft each) housing more than 70 desktops and servers with the latest configuration. All the computers are inter-connected to various high-end servers running Operating Systems like Windows XP and Linux and backed UPS power backup.

Library:

The SCCT library is an integral part of the college. It plays a crucial role in supporting higher education as well as research activities, especially in the context of the phenomenal growth of knowledge that is happening worldwide. The SCCT library has a seating arrangement for 65 students well furnished with wooden carrel reading tables with separate lighting systems and comfortable chairs, Journal and new arrival display racks, and one charging and discharging counter. The library collection includes books on various subjects of seventh Streams. The bound volumes of journals are also available. The area of the library is 1036.31 sq. feet.

Seminar Hall:

The Sanpada College of Commerce And Technology boasts of having a state-of-the-art seminar/ conference room on its campus. The hall is fully air-conditioned with a seating capacity of around 200 people. The main dais can seat around 8-10 dignitaries. The facilities available at the hall are an LCD projector with a screen, a podium with large speakers, sophisticated mikes, and CCTV. The hall is well furnished with large windows which provide a garden view of the college.

Science Laboratories:

Sanpada College of Commerce and Technology has well-equipped Science labs. All the labs have the capacity of more than 50 students at a time. Students can do any kind of practical or research work comfortably. All labs Physics, Chemistry and Biology are fully ventilation.

Sports Facilities:

Sanpada College of Commerce and Technology always believes in the all-round development of students. So we conduct time to time various activities to keep our students fit and updated. Several students take part in different events as per their interests and capacity. We have a big playground of around 100sq. mtrs. We used to conduct football, volleyball, cricket, table tennis, carom, kabaddi, and athletes. We have enough space for gymkhana where students can utilize their free time. Several students participated at the national level, university level, and cluster level. Around 100 students took part in university-level cricket and football tournaments.
