Within the purview of the Directorate, approximately 1600 Technical Institutions are situated across Maharashtra. This network is supported by six regional Technical Education Offices located in Amravati, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, and Pune.
The primary goal of the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra, is to elevate and uphold the standards of technical education.
