Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University Of Agriculture And Technology, Meerut Central Library building of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture & Technology, Meerut was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Yogi Aadityanath and agriculture minister of Uttar Pradesh on 13 January, 2021. The Library building of SVPUA&T, Meerut is G+1 type. It is being constructed in 5179.85 sqm (GFArea 2775 sqm+First Floor 2404.85sqm) area. The provision of Entrance Fire, Clock room, Issue Counter, Printing/Classification room, Book Binding, Administration room (Librarian, Assistant Librarians), Central Auditorium, Technical Section/Photocopy/Office, Conference room, Periodical section, Reference Books, Reading room, E-Library sections are  at ground floor and Textbook lawn, Reading rooms, Special Reading room, Group study room, Group discussion room, Seminar room are  at the first Floor. The Library is having capacity to accommodate total of more than one Lakh Books/Periodicals and more than 550 students.

Robert S. Ziglar Lab

Modernly equipped Robert S. Zeigler laboratory is operating in the University for soil and plant analysis. The sophisticated laboratory was inaugurated by an eminent scientist Padamshree Dr R.B. Singh on 3 Jan 2011 in presence of Dr Robert S. Zeigler, D.G., IRRI, Philippines. The laboratory is named as Dr Robert S. Zeigler laboratory since it was financed initially by IRRI. The students and scientists of the University are availing the facilities in the laboratory for their analytical works. The available instruments in the laboratory are TOC analyzer, Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer, Gas Chromatography (GC), and Spectrophotometer, Flame photometer and other routine soil and plant analysis equipments.

Media Production Centre

University has a well equipped state of the art media production centre with sound proof recording room, Editing software, (Adobe CS6 PRO), Storage media and Video Conferencing facility. Over 200 video lectures have been recorded and edited which are available on eLearning portal. It was developed with financial support from ICAR and USAID.

Vallabh Staff Club

Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University Of Agriculture And Technology, Meerut Vallabh Staff club is formed to facilitate positive interaction, get-together between the staff (teaching and nonteaching both) of the university, KVKs & KGKs of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture & technology, Meerut. Request for allotment of staff club should be sent at least 15 days in advance only in proper format on “first cum first serve’’ basis based on availability. This club includes the facility of Club building having four rooms, one hall and three well maintained large lawns. Our staff club is located in the main University Campus.

Guest Houses

1. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture &Technology, Meerut has two training hostels (Guest Houses) i.e. Farmer’s Training Hostel and Training Hostel are primarily meant for official guests from different institutes, universities & other organizations. Room’s allotment requires prior booking or on “first cum first serve’’ basis based on availability. Our rooms at training hostels are well furnished and fitted with AC & Geysers.
2. Our training hostel & farmer’s training hostel (Guest houses) are located on N.H. 58 (Delhi-Haridwar Highway) about 8 Kms from heart of the city of Meerut and 2 Kms after crossing Meerut Bypass (Dayawati Modi Academy) and 2 Kms from NHAI Toll Plaza (Siwaya) while coming from Muzaffarnagar towards Delhi. Both the guest houses are very adjacent to IIFSR (ICAR-Indian Institute of Farming Systems Research, Modipuram) & CPRIC (ICAR-Central Potato Research Institute Campus, Modipuram), Meerut.
   
3. The nearest airport is IGI airport New Delhi which is approximately 80 Kms away & Railway station is Meerut City (10 Kms) & Meerut Cantt (8 Kms) & well connected with state Roadways & local auto rikshaw/city bus service.
   

Mushroom Laboratory

Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University Of Agriculture And Technology, Meerut Mushroom laboratory in S.V.P.U.A.&T. Meerut has been established in 2008 which was strengthened with the help of N.H.M./U.P.C.A.R. financed project i.e. “Establishment of Mushroom spawn Laboratory” for the period 2008-2009. The Teaching of Under Graduate course like Experiential Learning and RAWE programme on mushroom production has been started. Post graduate Teaching and research (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) work on mushroom has been started in Mushroom laboratory, Department of Plant Pathology, S.V.P. Univ. of Ag. & Tech., Meerut (U.P.) from academic session 2008-09. Research activities at mushroom laboratory include basic strategies, applied research and validation on production technologies to enhance productivity of edible mushroom. Extension activities include Farmer advisory service, Training and demonstrations of production Technology are also being organized with help of Krishi Vigyan Kendras of the University with technical support of mushroom laboratory.
