Career Counselling and Placement cell

Employability is becoming increasingly central to the mission and functioning of colleges and universities spurred on by national and supranational agencies and demands of marketization. Based on the above philosophy, SCD Government College has a dynamic career counselling and placement cell. The career counselling cell, with the help of various agencies and institutions, organizes seminars to make students aware of various career opportunities in the private and public sectors. The students are provided information about various competitive exams and how to crack them. The placement cell has organized various on-campus and off-campus drives in the last 6 months with companies like D Mart, OM Careers, Parshottam Associates, and Arora Iron and Steel Rolling Mills. Around 70 students were able to get placement because of these placement drives.
