Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, New Delhi has changed its admissions procedure in the year 2023. The requirements regarding postgraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) courses are as follows:
Acceptance into UG programs within the Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce for 2023 are dependent on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores that are administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates who are eligible who are interested in UG courses must sign up through the admission portal of Delhi University at admission.uod.ac.in. After registering, students are required to choose their college of choice and program. Seat allocations for UG programs will be handled by the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS).
Admissions to PG programs are determined by CUET scores, which replace the old Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET). PG applicants must sign up at admission.uod.ac.in and make a note of their choices in the program and for their college. In the case of PG admissions, 50% of seats will be assigned based on the merits of the candidate in the qualifying exam particularly for those with an undergraduate degree in Delhi University. The remaining 50 percent in seats is assigned in accordance with the student's ranking in the CUET the PG.

For a range of UG courses, students must satisfy certain eligibility requirements and subject combination based upon the requirements of CUET. For instance, requirements for eligibility and selection for certain courses are like this:
B.Com (Hons): Two combinations are accepted. Combination I requires candidates to possess a language from List A as well as mathematics and two subjects, at minimum one from List B1. Combination II needs any one language from List A as well as accounting and two subject, with at a minimum one of them from List B1.
B.Com: Two combinations are available, both of which require certain subjects and language proficiency.
B.A (Hons) Economics Students must be able to speak at minimum one language of List A maths and two of the subjects, including one subject from List B1.
B.Sc computer Science: Candidates must possess a language from List A as well as mathematics and two subjects, plus one from List B1.
BMS Eligibility criteria consist of one language from List A as well as mathematics along with Section III from the CUET (General Test).
B.A (Hons) Punjabi: Similar to B.Com (Hons) it allows two subjects in a combination.
CUET Structure:
The CUET test consists of three parts that are: Languages and Domain Specific as well as General. The subjects that are included in the sections varies based on the eligibility criteria specific to each program.
CSAS Admission Process 2023:
Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce is a participant in Delhi University's Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) to allow UG courses admissions. The process is comprised of three steps:
CSAS Application Form: Candidates must submit an CSAS application form, as well as additional charges in order to qualify for ECA and sports contingent.
Choice of College Preferences and Courses: After CUET results are announced, candidates who qualify can choose their courses and then fill in with their preferences for colleges.
Seat allocation and final admission: Seat allocation varies based on the choice of the applicant's school and college, as well as their place in the merit lists, their category and availability of seats. Candidates must take their allotted seats by the date specified.
Reservation Policy:
The college is subject to the reservation norms that are set by the Government of India. Reservations for seats are made available to Delhi Region Candidates (85%) and for Outside Delhi Region Candidates (15%). Reservation categories comprise Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Caste (OBC), Defense as well as Scheduled Tribe (ST) under both horizontal and vertical guidelines.
