Undergraduate (UG) Selection Process

The selection process for UG courses is conducted through the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) examinations administered by the university, followed by subsequent e-counseling rounds.  Candidates who qualify in the CUET examinations are mandated to participate in e-counseling sessions. During the two rounds of e-counseling, candidates have the opportunity to select the college they wish to attend.


The CUET examinations are structured into three sections

Section 1 - Languages: Divided into sections 'A' and 'B'. Section 'A' comprises 13 languages like Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, etc., while Section 'B' includes 20 languages such as French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, etc. Candidates are required to appear in at least one language for admission.

Section 3 - General Test: A general test applicable to any UG program offered by the university. Candidates must adhere to the program-specific eligibility criteria for selecting general tests.
