Students who have completed their 10+2 education with Physics and Mathematics, along with one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Biology, are eligible to apply for the B.Tech program at Shaheed Udham Singh College of Engineering and Technology (SUSCET). For admission to the M.Tech program, candidates need a B.E/B.Tech degree in a relevant discipline.

The diploma course is a 3-year regular full-time program with eight disciplines offered. Admission to the 1st and 3rd semesters is based on the candidate's choice. One-fifth of the total seats for the diploma course is reserved for students admitted through the LEET test. The Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET) is organized annually by the Haryana State Technical Education Society for admission to lateral entry BE/B.Tech/Diploma courses.
