Shiksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University for Admission 2024-25

The institution provides a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in fields such as engineering, medicine, management, law, and others. SOA admissions are dependent on a variety of entrance tests, including the SAAT (Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University Admission Test), NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test), and others. SOA also provides direct admission to certain programs based on merit and other factors. Candidates with good scores in national-level entrance tests such as JEE Main, NEET, CAT, MAT, or GATE, for example, may be offered direct admission to specific programs.

UG Eligibility Criteria

  1. Candidates for BHMTC the candidate shall have passed the 10+2 examination in any discipline with at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC / ST / OBC category)
  2. Candidates for B.Tech the candidate shall have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks (50% in case of SC / ST / OBC category) and obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the other subjects.
  3. Candidates for BSc the candidate shall have passed the 10+2 examination with at least 60% marks in aggregate for admission under General and OBC categories, and the lower age limit is 17 years as of 31.12.2023.
  4. Candidates for BCA the candidate shall have passed the 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with at least 50% marks (45% in the case of the SC / ST category).
  5. Candidates for B Pharm the candidate shall have passed the 10+2 examination conducted with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M), and /or Biology, and obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of the candidate belonging to reserved category).
  6. Candidates for BA LLB the candidate shall have passed the 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with at least 45% marks. Relaxable to 40% in case of SC/ST and 42% in case of OBC.
  7. Candidates for BBA the candidate shall have passed 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC / ST category).

Doctorate Programmes Eligibility Criteria

  1. For Business Management the candidate must have an MBA/ PGDM/ (AICTE approved)/ M. Com./ MA in Economics/ PMIR/ M. Tech. in Industrial Engg. / Public Administration, with a 6.00 CGPA or 60 percent of marks in aggregate
  2. For Medical Science, the candidate must have an MD/MS in a relevant discipline with a 6.00 CGPA or 60 percent of marks in aggregate.

Siksha 'O' Anusandhan Application Process

  1. All students must apply for and take the Siksha O Anusandhan Admissions Test (SAAT) or an equivalent qualifying exam(s).
  2.  based on the SAAT, a separate merit list will be generated for all eligible candidates.
  3. Furthermore, separate merit lists will be created for candidates who qualify under each of the reservation categories. A rank card will be issued to each eligible candidate.
  4. Reservations must be made by the reservation policy outlined in the Reservation Policy Document.
  5. Online/offline counseling will be provided based on the candidate's merit and preference. Following the publication of the rankings, the detailed processes and timeline will be communicated.
