To help students with on-campus placement options, the college has a dedicated Placement and Training Center. A professor is in charge of the Center's operations. All students in the pre-final year receive pre-placement training in soft skills from the Center so they may become familiar with the demands of the modern workplace. The center helps students prepare for interviews and secure the jobs they want. More than 100 prestigious and well-known businesses from all industries in the nation and overseas come to the campus to recruit. Every year, placement rates for all programs total more than 80%.
The following are some of the activities which ensure progression to employment:
All students in their pre-final year receive four days of required instruction in soft skills (such as personality development, CV writing, communication skills, aptitude tests, interview techniques, etc.) from the Placement Center.
During the hiring process, students have the option of choosing between two job options (one core and one IT company).
The Placement Center organizes guest lectures and special invitee lecture series from business experts for students in all fields.
Many businesses, including Tektronix, Unisys, Kyocera Wireless, Honeywell, Global Edge Software Limited, Robert Bosch, Oracle, S7 Solutions, Sun Microsystems, etc., have offered internship opportunities for PG students.
Most of the major businesses in the country come here to conduct campus recruitment. Companies are in fierce competition with one another to visit the campus in order to hire the best students. The Placement Office has increased the number of offers by 35% over the years by providing advertising and communication.
