The Advisory Committee of the Career Scholarship Group plays an important role in supporting the overall development and well-being of students. Through a week-long introductory and mentoring program designed specifically for first-year students, the committee aims to assess their needs and ensure a smooth transition to college life. Using audio and video recordings, the program provides a platform for students to showcase their strengths and talents effectively.
Additionally, the committee works closely with department coordinators to identify students facing a variety of challenges such as health issues, family problems, financial hardship, or irregular attendance. Once identified, the advisory committee conducts a comprehensive investigation to understand the reasons behind these challenges. These students are then offered individual counseling sessions, providing guidance and support to overcome their challenges and successfully navigate their college journey.
