Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj College of Engineering central library was set up in 2011. The library plays a vital role in the teaching-learning process. The library provides knowledge to all faculty and students. Library is an essential component of learning, research, and education mission. The Central Library is located on the ground floor and is spread over an area of 429.96 sq. m., with the reading hall having a seating capacity of 180 students. The library is automated with the library software ‘e-vidya: Library Management System’ which includes: Acquisition, Accessioning, OPAC, Barcode, Issue/Return of books, Periodical record, and various types of reports, etc. It helps in accessing a wide range of materials. The central library is divided into various sections such as The circulation section (Issue/Return), e- E-Labrary, the Reprographic section, the Journals section, the Newspaper section, the Stacking Section, Spacious Reading Hall, etc.

Central Library consists of a good collection of references/textbooks, handbooks, and journals related to the field of engineering, it has about 3804 titles and 12782 volumes.
