Under Graduate Programmes - Eligibility

B.B.A.

The eligibility for a student to join the BBA course shall be a pass in HSC. Preference should be given to commerce and accountancy streams.

B.A TAMIL

A pass in +2 examinations.

B. Com.

Any one of the subjects must be studied at the +2 level Accountancy/ Commerce/ Mathematics/ Business Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science.

BACHELOR OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS ( BCA )

A candidate who has passed in Higher Secondary Examination with Mathematics Business Mathematics Computer Science Statistics or Computer Applications (Academic stream or Vocational stream) as one of the subjects under the Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Tamil Nadu as per norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an Examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the syndicate.

B.Sc. 

Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the Bachelor of Science – Physics shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an Examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the Syndicate.

B.Sc. Mathematics

A Pass in the Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Board or some other Board accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto with Mathematics (other than Business Mathematics) as one of the subjects.

Post Graduate Programmes - Eligibility

M.A 

A candidate who passed any Bachelor's degree of Periyar University or any Bachelor's degree of any Other University accepted by the syndicate as equivalent thereto.

M.Com

Pass in B.Com, B.Com (CA), B.Com (e-com), B.B.A, B.B.M, BBA/BBM (CA), B.COM (Corporate Secretaryship), B.Com (Corporate Secretaryship) with CA, BCS, BCS (CA), B. A (Corporate Secretaryship), B.A (Corporate Secretaryship) with CA, and B.Com (Co-operation), B.Com (Banking

& Insurance), B.Com (Accounting & Finance), B.Com (Security Marketing Practices) B.Com (Financial Marketing Analytics), and B.COM. (Professional Accounting).

M.Sc. 

B.Sc. Costume Design and Fashion, B.Sc.-Textile and Fashion Designing, B.Sc. Fashion Technology and B.Sc. degree related to textile or fashion.

M.Sc. Chemistry

A candidate who has passed B.Sc., Chemistry degree of Periyar University or B.Sc. B.Ed. Chemistry (Integrated Programme) or any other University accepted by the Syndicate equivalent thereto, subject to such condition as may be prescribed therefore are eligible for admission to M.Sc., Degree

Program and shall be permitted to appear and qualify for the Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree Examination in Chemistry of Periyar University.
