• For admission to B.Tech program offered by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Sardar Patel Institute Of Technology (SPIT) (SPIT), candidate should have completed 10+2/HSC with science subjects i.e. Physics, Mathematics and any of the following subjects -  Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Candidate should have valid score in MHT-CET conducted by DTE or JEE Main, conducted by CBSE. Such candidates will be allotted seats through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DTE Maharashtra.

• SPIT offers M.Tech course in two disciplines along with MCA degree course at PG level. Candidates seeking admission to M.Tech course must possess a BE/ B.Tech degree in relevant discipline with at least 50% marks. Selection of candidates to the M.Tech courses is done on the basis of GATE score and it is mandatory for candidates to have a positive score in GATE.
• Candidates applying for MCA course should have passed minimum three-year duration Bachelor’s Degree course with at least 50% marks. Candidate should also have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at (10+2) level or graduate level examination. Candidate should possess valid MAH-MCA-CET scores.

• In addition to UG and PG courses, SPIT also offers Ph.D degree in 4 disciplines and the minimum eligibility criteria is that the candidate should have at least 55% aggregate marks in the Master’s degree. Candidates who have passed M.Phil degree course with at least 55% marks are also eligible.
• Candidates are required to appear for PET (Ph.D. entrance test) conducted by the University of Mumbai in order to be eligible for selection.
  
• If a candidate is qualified in GATE examination, he/she is exempted from appearing in the test.
• Eligible candidates shall be given provisional admission only after undergoing centralized interview by a panel at the College/Institute/University/Department.
