UG Admission  (SNGIST), Ernakulam

Eligibility Criteria 

SNGIST offers five specializations in B.Tech with an intake of 63 students in each course. It also offers B.Tech Lateral entry, B.Sc. in Microbiology, BBA, BCA, and B.Com programs. Candidates applying to the B.Tech program must have passed the 10+2 examination in PCM with a minimum of 50% marks. For admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry, candidates should have passed a Diploma in Engineering. Candidates applying to BBA, BCA, B.Sc., and B.Com should have passed the 10+2 examination in the relevant stream. Candidates with a non-commerce background applying for B.Com must have secured 45% marks in the 10+2 level.
Admission to B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral is based on the valid score obtained in SNTEEE and Kerala LET respectively. Admission to the remaining courses is done based on Merit followed by Personal Interview.

PG Admission (SNGIST), Ernakulam

Eligibility Criteria 
SNGIST currently offers PG courses in the fields of Management leading to MCA, M.Com, and M.Sc. programs. For an MBA, a minimum of 50% marks in any Bachelor’s degree.

Eligibility Criteria. For M.Sc., candidates should have secured at least 55% marks in B.Sc. from a recognized university. Candidates must have passed B.Com/BBA/BCA with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized university for the M.Com program.  Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in BCA or Bachelor’s degree in any subject with Mathematics in 10+2 level or Bachelor’s degree in any subject with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects for admission in MCA.

Admission to M.Sc. and M.Com is done based on merit in the qualifying examination. Admission to MCA is done based on Kerala CEE (KEAM). Admission to the MBA program is done based on marks obtained in KMAT.

Key Points:

• Candidates belonging to the OBC category get a relaxation of 10% in the qualifying examination in the MCA regular program.
• OBC candidates applying to the M.Com program get a relaxation of 3% marks, whereas SC/ST candidates need to pass the qualifying examination.
• Candidates applying to M.Sc. program should have a degree in B.Sc. in • Biochemistry/Zoology/Botany/Biophysics/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Chemistry.
