Rules of Admission SSIBM, Tumkur

The college adheres to the rules and regulations stipulated by the Tumkur University, State Government, and UGC norms.

Admission procedure commences soon after the publication of the results of the qualifying examinations.

Application forms to be collected from college and submitted to college only.

Application for admission should reach the college office on or before the specified date.

No application will be considered unless accompanied by a copy of the statement of marks obtained at the examination.

Only certified copies of the certificates should be attached. Originals should be submitted at the time of admission.

Migration certificates should be submitted by the students coming from the other states universities.

Students coming from other universities or states seeking admission to courses in this college are required to produce a certificate from the respective universities with an eligibility certificate from Tumkur University. Only after the production of such certificate their applications will be considered for admission.

Fee paid on admission will not be refunded.

Candidates selected for admission should pay the prescribed fee and produce the original of the transfer certificate and statements of marks on or before the dates notified.

Names of the students provisionally selected for admission will be announced on the college Notice Board.

Students getting admission should submit two passport-size photographs.

Buying the prospectus does not ensure admission to the college.

Admission cannot be claimed as a matter of right.

Fees once paid will not be refunded.

Candidates admitted to Self-financing programs are required to pay fees for all semesters.

Original Certificates submitted at the time of admission will be returned only after completion of the admission Process. Students are, therefore, directed to maintain at least 10 attested copies of the same before submitting the originals for admission.

Request for certificate from college should be made at least one week prior to requirement.

Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other eligible communities have to produce the Community and Conversion Certificates from the authorities concerned, at the time of admission to avail fee concession and other financial aids from the Government.

Other Backward and Forward Community students should also produce Community and Income Certificates to get the benefit of fee concession.

Prospective candidates and their parents should read the Prospectus carefully and sign a declaration of compliance with the rules and code of conduct stipulated by the college before the payment of fees.

Unless otherwise demanded, original certificates need not be sent along with the application. The college is not responsible for the loss of any documents. Attested true copies of all relevant certificates and mark lists should be enclosed.
