Step 2: Eligibility Screening

For M.Sc. Biotechnology:

Candidates are required to possess a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Biotechnology, or any other Biological Sciences. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering specializing in Biotechnology or Technology in Biotechnology from a recognized University or Institution of National Importance is acceptable.  The minimum eligibility criterion is 50% marks or an equivalent grade (45% for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes).

For M.Sc. Biochemistry:

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects in the third year. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Biotechnology, or any other Biological Science is acceptable. The minimum eligibility criterion is 50% marks or an equivalent grade (45% for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes).

Step 3: Personal Interaction (No Written Exam)

Shortlisted candidates will participate in a Personal Interaction session, and no written examination is conducted. The assessment of candidates will consider multiple parameters, including undergraduate academic scores, general aptitude, subject knowledge, communication skills, and achievements in extracurricular activities.
