Central Computer Facility:

The Central Computer Facility [CCF] of SSIET Bhilai takes care of the maintenance of the hardware and software of about 350 computers and peripherals of the institute

The CFF itself has 350 computers 

It has 350 lates PIV HP Compaq IBM nodes

It has the internet facility of 10 Mbps bandwidth

It also has 30 printers including colour and non-colour lasers

It contains handheld PC, scanners and licensed software

Hostel Facility:

SSIET Bhilai has separate hostels for boys and girls

The kitchen of the Institute offers snacks, meals, soft drinks and many more

The hostel facility includes a dining hall, common rooms, dispensary and infirmary, gymnasium etc

All the rooms of the hostels are equipped with chairs, tables, mattresses, beds etc

Central Library:

It gives online access to various reference journals and periodicals

Online journals like DELNET are subscribed

It has a huge collection of engineering books, SC/ ST book bank, a scholar book bank for meritorious students and many more

Transport Facility:

The Institute also offers transport facility to its students

The facility is subjected to the availability of the seats

The transport fee has to be paid in advance
