Sir Sitaram and Lady Shantabai Patkar College of Arts and Science (SSLSPCAS), Mumbai offer various undergraduate programs including B.Sc with 5 disciplines, BA, B.Com with 3 disciplines, BMM, and BMS. The eligibility criteria for each program are as follows:
B.Sc Program:
1. Candidates must have passed 10+2 in the Science stream with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate.
2. Mathematics must be one of the compulsory subjects.
BMS Program:
1. Candidates must have passed HSC or its equivalent examination, or a Diploma in any engineering discipline of 2-3 years after SSC from the Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra.
2. Minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category) are required.
B.Com, BMM, and BA Programs:
1. Candidates must have completed 10+2/HSC in any discipline.
2. Admission to these undergraduate programs is based on the candidate's merit in the qualifying examination, as per the norms of the University of Mumbai.
SSLSPCAS, Mumbai M.Sc Admission
The college offers an M.Sc program with 8 specializations. The eligibility criteria and admission process for the M.Sc program are as follows:
Eligibility:
1. Candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Medicine, Computer Science, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Information Technology, or Veterinary Science from a recognized University.
2. A minimum of 45% marks are required for general category candidates, and 40% marks are required for reserved category candidates.
Admission Process:
1. Admission to the M.Sc program is based on the candidate’s merit in Post-Graduation.
2. For M.Sc in Bioinformatics, candidates must score a minimum of 50% marks in the entrance test conducted by the college and qualify for the interview round.
3. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria and completing the admission process are considered for admission to the M.Sc program with their preferred specialization.
