St. Aloysius College was inaugurated in 1880 and is a private autonomous college established in Mangalore, Karnataka. The college is affiliated with Mangalore University, Mangalore. There are 6 UG programs viz. BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, and BSW and 6 PG programs viz. MA, MSc, MCA, MBA, M.Com, MSW. St. Aloysius College, Mangalore also offers PG Diploma programs.

Candidates have to apply offline for each UG, PG, and PG Diploma program.

The application form is made available at the college campus and on the website of the college as well.

Payment of the application fee shall be done in cash or through DD as well.

Students who have passed 10+2 in relevant stream are eligible to apply for UG admission.

Candidates who have Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline are considered eligible to apply for admission to PG courses.

The minimum eligibility requirement for PG Diploma program admission is candidates must have any UG or PG Degree from a recognized University.

Admission to any UG, PG or Diploma course is given to the eligible candidates on the basis of their merit in the last qualifying examination.

St. Aloysius College The curriculum at St. Aloysius College includes programs in BA, BSc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, and BSW. Candidates are eligible for admission to the BA and BSW programs if they have completed the 10+2/PUC in any relevant specialties from a recognized board. Candidates who have completed the 10+2 program in the science stream are eligible for admission to the B.Sc. program and entrance. Similar to that, people who have completed their 10+2 in any discipline are eligible for admission to the MSW program. Candidates who have completed their 10+2 in the commerce stream with at least 80% of the required marks—80% for girls and 75% or more for boys—are eligible for admission to the B.Com. program. stream with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and have scored minimum 55% marks are considered eligible.

Admission to all the UG program is given directly on the basis of candidate’s merit in the qualifying examination.

The curriculum at St. Aloysius College includes programs for an MA with three specializations, an M.Sc. in 11 disciplines, an M.Com., an MBA, and an MCA. According to their eligibility, admission to any PG course is based on their performance in the qualifying exam.

Candidates for admission to BA programs must have earned a bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a recognized university with a minimum grade point average of 45%. Only those candidates who hold a BSc degree in the appropriate field or an equivalent degree from BE, B.Tech, BCA, BCS, BIT, or BIS, with a minimum GPA of 45%, are admitted to the MSc program. Candidates for the M.Com. program must have a B.Com. or BBM degree with a GPA of 45% or higher.

Candidates with a BSW degree and a minimum GPA of 45% are eligible for admission to the MSW program. Candidates for admission to the MBA program must have a UG degree in any relevant discipline with at least 45% marks, and 40% for SC and ST candidates. Candidates must have a graduation degree in mathematics, computer application, computer science, statistics, business administration, business mathematics, and business statistics with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 50% to be eligible for admission to the MCA program.

St. Aloysius College PG Diploma Admission 2024

The Post-Graduate Diploma program at St. Aloysius College offers five specialties, and the Advanced PG Diploma program offers two disciplines over the course of a year. The only criterion for admission to the Post-Graduate Diploma and Advanced Post-Graduate Diploma programs is the candidate's performance on the qualifying examination.

Candidates are deemed eligible for admission to PG Diploma or Advanced PG Diploma programs if they hold a Bachelor's degree, such as a BA, BSc, BCA, BBA, B.Com, or BSW, or any Master's degree, such as an MA, MSc, M.Com, MSW, MBA, MCA, or any equivalent degree from any recognized university.
