Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College in Tirupati admits students through various entrance exams such as the Common Entrance Exam.

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) Admission Requirements:

For admission to the first year of the B.Tech program, candidates must have completed the Intermediate (10+2) examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, or an equivalent examination recognized as such. The minimum qualification includes having Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects. Admissions to the college are conducted in conjunction with other engineering colleges in the state through a common entrance test (EAMCET) administered by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

B. Tech Admission Criteria:

The admission process for B.Tech follows a specific pattern:

70% of the seats are allocated by the Convener based on merit in the EAMCET (A-Category).

The remaining 30% of seats are reserved for NRI/Management candidates (B-Category).

Additionally, 10% of the intake is designated for Diploma holders who can join the second year of the B.Tech program through the lateral entry scheme. The selection is based on merit in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET).
