The birth of the Day Care Center for Children (DCCC) at S.V. National Institute of Technology took place on 31st October 2006. It was inaugurated by Dr.(Mrs.) Vikasben Desai, Addl. Director (FW), Commissionerate of Health, Medical Services & ME (HS), Government of Gujarat, India.
SVNIT Day Care Centre for Children (DCCC) takes care of the children of employees/PG Students/ Research Scholars. It is a common facility essentially meant for staff welfare. It is fully equipped with modern sophisticated facilities and games for the children of a busy and lovely family.
The mission of the center is to provide a Happy, Healthy, and safe environment to the children. You will find your child is safe, active, and cooperative. We know that we can not substitute your love, affection, and care. But we can try for the best. Your child will not feel that they are away from love & affection because the Day Care Center for Children (DCCC) is run by dedicated management & staff.

A newly completed, state-of-the-art library is in operation at the college. The SVNIT central library has an incredible collection of books that has grown over many years since its creation in the year 1968. It is operating using the software. The library is also a member of the Indian National Digital Library in Engineering Science and Technology, accessible via the e-Shodh Sindhu platform, which contains massive amounts of e-books journals, articles videos, etc. In addition to them, it is also able to offer subscriptions to a variety of journals.
SVNIT organizes annual sports each year and is also involved in inter-college sports. Thus, SVNIT students make use of the cricket pitches and football, as well as courts for tennis and basketball. Furthermore, SVNIT also has a table tennis area and an indoor gaming area. Additionally, the school provides a modern gym to students.

Medical Facilities
A full-fledged outpatient clinic, the Health Center with Extension of Health Center at CAD building is run by two full-time residential doctors and six honorary visiting medical consultants, including a physician, gynecologist, pediatrician, radiologist, and specialist in ayurveda and homeopathy, with assistance from pharmacists and support staff. OPD services are offered in the CAD building (Hon. Visiting Medical Consultants) and the Health Center (Resident Medical Officers).
