The Training and Placement Cell of Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering (SVUCE) was established in 1992 and since then has been serving the student community by providing training and placements. The Placement Unit actively conducts training activities in the areas of skills and soft skills, thereby contributing to the continuous improvement of recruitment results. By participating in various activities such as group discussions, quizzes, mock tests and online tests, the placement cell strives to improve the employability of students. Many companies, both from the software and core industries, regularly visit the campus, which ensures a significant number of student internships. On average, 75-80% of students are selected through campus or pool campus drives each year. The alumni network plays a key role in strengthening the institution and contributes to its strength and stature. Companies offering annual plans range from as low as ?3.50 to as high as ?12.00 lakh. The objective of the Mediation Cell is to create a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with companies to launch scholarships and workshops and support collaboration between academia and industry. The overarching goal is to intensify efforts to achieve the highest possible number of study places in all disciplines.
