The Symbiosis International, Hyderabad (Deemed University)Central Library is housed in a newly constructed, independent, and spacious building located at the Lavale campus. The location of the Central Library overlooks the beautiful landscape around the building. The pleasant environment and the well-furnished reading area inspire students to learn and conduct research. The University subscribes to 266354 e-books for their users of all institutes and makes them accessible to them.
SIU also subscribes to a total of 142 online databases as per the requirements of the institutes. EBSCO, Emerald, Scopus, Web of Science, JSTOR, Manupatra, Kluwer, and WARC, are the major databases accessible to all institutes, and other online Databases subscribed by institutes are accessible to respective institutes on their IP address of the campus, and remote access facility also available to access subscribed databases.
The Central Library is trying to establish an excellent cooperative arrangement with many resourceful libraries and consortia with INFLIBNET in the country. The Central Library has developed a Library Portal to provide remote access to its E-resources for all.
Symbiosis International (Deemed University) offers medical facilities for all the students and teaching and non-teaching staff through the Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC). SCHC was established in 1997 with the mission of addressing the healthcare needs, primarily of the students & staff of Symbiosis, envisioning a state of ‘Positive Health’ in them. It is the “In-house Health Care Unit” of Symbiosis which provides preventive, promotive, and curative health care services. The healthcare services are rendered to students & staff through standardized healthcare setups and quality NABL-accredited lab services.

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) established its University Sports Board in 2010 and the Department of Sports, Recreation & Wellness was established in 2019. The DSRW particularly is responsible for the development of sports infrastructure, participation in sports at grass-root level, fitness testing for staff and students as well as excelling at National Sports Tournaments. Our emphasis is on Physical Literacy for our students, faculty, and staff for lifelong improvement in their quality of life. The Department provides access to state of art playfields and Gymnasiums at all campuses, fitness and wellness programs, multiple group classes, sports competitions, and counseling.
