SSMC, Bangalore Placement Cell
The placement cell of Symbiosis School of Media & Communication prepares students for the workforce. The placement cell arranges a range of events and activities to support students' holistic growth and offers training to improve skills in line with market demands. The pre-placement guest lectures and workshops are arranged by the SSMC Bangalore Placement Cell in collaboration with industry professionals. The placement cell offers employment opportunities across multiple industries.
Placement Process
- Companies and organizations are invited to the placement drive by the SSMC Bangalore placement cell.
- The invited companies host a pre-placement session where they answer questions from SSMC Bangalore students about the company and provide information to the students about the workings of the company, including job descriptions.
- For the purpose of continuing the placement process, interested students must send their resumes to the SSMC Bangalore placement cell.
- The organizations shortlist students based on their resumes.
- Students will participate in a written exam, a group discussion, and an in-person interview as part of the recruiters' selection process.
- The organizations will extend employment offers to the final students chosen.
