Tata Institute Of Fundamental Research Admission

Admission to all TIFR courses follows a rigorous process involving a written test and interview conducted by the university. Selection is solely based on merit, with only the top 1.5% of applicants being chosen annually. TIFR also considers scores from national-level entrance examinations such as NET, JRF, JEST, or GATE for admission to the Ph.D. program, exempting candidates from the written test if they meet specific criteria.

Currently, TIFR is inviting applications for the Ph.D. in Systems Science. Candidates with valid GATE scores can apply online through the university's official website. Additionally, TIFR has published the interview shortlist for Integrated M.Sc.-Ph.D. and Ph.D. programs, accessible on the university's official website for candidates to review.
