Thakur College Of Engineering And Technology (TCET, Mumbai) has an enviable record in placement of students. The institute has been accredited by major companies like Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, Accenture, iGate and Tech-Mahindra etc.
At present more than 90 companies are visiting for campus recruitment every year and almost all eligible students are placed through campus. Special efforts are also taken to place the noneligible students.

An internship provides the work experience that helps students put their education into practice, develop their leadership skills and give them a competitive advantage as they pursue a permanent position. Therefore, TCET’s T&P Cell has taken this initiative in the year 2011-12 After autonomous, it is made mandatory for the students to have 4 to 6 weeks of internship in every year and credits are awarded under HSD as per AICTE internship policy.
TCET has devised structured and guided process for the internship, where students can avail benefits from their first year itself. For the first two years, students need to complete the inhouse internship and remaining two years, they obtain outhouse internship through the support of T&P Cell.
Students are awarded 11 to 15 credits on the successful completion of the program. TCET has provided this opportunity to more than 9100 students till now.
