Infrastructure and Facilities

Library:

The college Library is the pulse of all academic activity. The library was initiated along with the establishment of the College in the year of 1957.  The college has around 92585 print book collections of different streams, namely, Science, Arts, and Commerce. The latest publications in the fields of Science, Humanities, and Social Sciences are continuously upgraded to the collection of books to equip students and teaching faculty with a wide range of academic resources. Data entry work for science subjects as well as English & Geography have been already completed. The students and teachers can access the bibliographic record through OPAC in the library.

The Central Library of Trivenidevi Bhalotia College is housed in a two-story building, namely Golden Jubilee Central Library Bhawan. Situated at a vantage point overlooking the large playground, it is easily accessible from all departments of the College. The green surrounding area adds to the joy of learning. The library is functional from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm from Monday to Friday and from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm on Saturday.

Hostel Facilities:

The college has a hostel accommodation situated in the northeastern part of the college campus. The hostel accommodates 100 students in 20 rooms with sufficient water and electricity supply. The two-story building is thoughtfully designed and has a separate dining hall. The messing system of the hostel is run by the boarders maintaining proper hygienic conditions. Ragging is strictly prohibited in the hostel according to Government order. There is a separate study room, an indoor games room along with internet access.  Accommodation in the hostel is offered by the policies established by the college administration. One dedicated and sincere faculty member has been deputed as the Hostel Super of the hostel.

Cafeteria:

The college has a canteen situated within the college campus adjacent to the main entrance of the college. It is open for all and there are separate dining arrangements for students and staff. AD types of snacks, soft drinks, and meals are available at subsidized rates. 

Sports:

The college has sports facilities for all students In its quest to promote the holistic development of students, the college encourages its students to participate in Sports. Such participation nurtures not only piiysác& dexterity, athleticism, and a spirit of competition but also social interaction. The college authority organázes annual sports every year.

Auditorium:

The college has started the construction of an auditorium with the following facilities like CENTRALISED AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM, SOUND PROOF AUDIO WITH MULTIMEDIA PROJECTION SYSTEM, CARPETED DIAS, AND WORLD CLASS SITTING ARRANGEMENT with 100 sitting capacity, on the roof of the VIVEKANANDA BHAVAN. The Central Library of the college functions on the ground floor of the VIVEKANANDA BHAVAN. The total built-up area of the auditorium will be approx. 500 sq. meter. The tentative date of completion of the project is the middle of 2023. A major portion of financial assistance is provided by RUSA 2.0.

Gym:

The college believes in the motto of ‘men sana in corpore sano’ a body based on the principle a gym is housed on the college premises. The gym remains open five days per week Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The working hours are 7.00 am-10.00 am and 12.00-4.00 pm. The gym can accommodate 100 students per year. All Students are internal. The student enjoys modern multigym facilities which include bicycle ergometers, twisters, and dumbbells.
