1. The admission process at Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University is in online mode. Applicants who wish to apply for admission are required to visit the website and submit an application form.
2. The minimum eligibility for undergraduate courses is class 12 with not less than 50% marks. Applicants with a graduate degree in a relevant discipline with minimum required marks are eligible to apply for master's courses.

4. Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board of education with Mathematics English as a compulsory subject or have a Diploma in IT after 10 to get admission into BCA
5. Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board of education with Commerce to get admission into BBA
6. Candidates must have passed Graduation from a recognized board of education in any discipline to get admission into B. Ed and B.Lib.I.Sc

UPRTOU UG Selection Process:

Admission to UG courses at UPRTOU based on merit secured in the last qualifying examination

Admission to B.Ed at UPRTOU based on basis of merit secured in an entrance examination conducted by the university 

UPRTOU MBA Eligibility Criteria:

For admission into the MBA program at UPRTOU, candidates must have passed Graduation with 50% marks (40% for reserved categories) in any discipline from a recognized university.

6. Candidates must have passed B.Lib.I.Sc from a recognized university or institute in any discipline for getting admission into M.Lib.I.Sc

UPRTOU Diploma Eligibility Criteria:

1. Candidates must have passed 10+2 from any recognized board of education to get admission into Diploma courses at UPRTOU
2. Candidates must have passed Graduation in a relevant discipline from any recognized university or institute to get admission into PG Diploma courses at UPRTOU
