• Candidates must score at least 50% marks in the 10+2 examination in the science stream conducted by a recognized Higher Secondary Board in order to be eligible for admission to the B. Tech program.

• Admission to B. Tech is entrance-based and candidates must appear for the MHT-CET (Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra.

• Candidates who clear the MHT-CET must register themselves to participate in the Common Admission Process (CAP).

• Candidates need to attend counseling conducted at designated Facilitation Centres (FCs) with documents for verification and allotment of colleges.

• For M.Tech, the candidate must obtain a B.Tech degree from a recognized university for minimum eligibility.

Candidates for M.Tech in Chemical Engineering must obtain a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks in chemical engineering/ chemical technology or equivalent.

• For admission in this course, the candidate must appear for a written test and personal interview conducted by North Maharashtra University.

• Admission to M.Tech in other specializations is done based on MHT CET conducted by the Government of Maharashtra.

• For a Ph.D. program in Engineering and Technology, the candidate must possess an M. Tech degree in Chemical Engineering and Technology.

UICT Jalagaon B.Tech Admission

The B.Tech program conducted by UICT is a full-time, regular course conducted over a period of four years in Chemical Engineering & Chemical Technology. In order to be eligible for admission to these courses, candidates must score at least 50% marks in the 10+2 examination conducted by a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths/Biology as compulsory subjects.

Candidates need to appear for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) conducted by DTE Maharashtra to qualify for admission. A merit list is released by DTE Maharashtra for admission to various colleges in the state. Students who clear the MHT-CET have to register to participate in the Common Admission Process (CAP) which is conducted in multiple rounds.

UICT Jalagaon Application Process

For B. Tech (Online):

Candidates can log onto the official website of DTE Maharashtra to apply to the B. Tech programs.
Candidates must register themselves and fill out the application form online to appear in the MHT CET examinations.
The duly filled form must be submitted and candidates must specify the exam venue of their choice.
Candidates must download and print the admit card available on the website and carry it to the examination center without fail.
Shortlisted candidates must fill and submit the Option Form available for participating in the Common Admission Process (CAP) at a Facilitation Centre (FC).
Candidates can participate in more than one CAP round by filling out Option Forms each time.
