Training & Placement- University Institute Of Engineering And Technology -(UIET, Chandigarh)

Placement:

Placements at UIET are meticulously organized and managed by the Training and Placement Committee (TPC) in collaboration with students and faculty members. The structured recruitment process unfolds as follows: Initial invitation emails, containing pertinent details, are dispatched to companies, inviting their participation in the Campus Placement Program.  Upon receiving responses, TPC formulates a tentative schedule, taking into account factors such as company reputation, pay packages, anticipated job offers, and more. Subsequently, placement dates are mutually agreed upon with the participating companies. The students are then informed of the company's placement drive date, and their willingness to participate is sought. A list of interested and eligible students is shared with the respective company, which subsequently visits the campus on the agreed-upon date to conduct the recruitment process.  The TPC extends comprehensive support to ensure the seamless execution of the placement drive. Companies are encouraged to conduct pre-placement talks before initiating the selection process. Following the conclusion of the selection process, companies are expected to promptly declare the results. Furthermore, companies are urged to share offer letters with the TPC expeditiously for the selected students. This intricate process ensures a well-coordinated and efficient placement experience for both students and participating companies.
