B.Lib.ScGranthalaya Vigyan – Library School	Duration: 1 Year Eligibility: Uttar Madhyama (i.e North Madhyama equivalent to 10+2) or Higher Secondary with Sanskrit as one of the main subjects and 40% aggregate marks. Candidates who have completed graduation in any stream are also applicable
MA	Duration: 2 Years Eligibility: Graduation in a related discipline with an aggregate of 40% marks from a recognized university Specializations: Yoga, Philosophy, History, Education, Hindi, and BhashaVigyan – Hindi and Language School, Ved (Shukla Yajurveda) – Knowledge, Jyotish – Astrology
Ph.D.	Duration: 2 Years- 5 Years Eligibility: Must have obtained a master's or equivalent postgraduate degree in a basic or allied subject from any university, recognized university, or private university established by law and recognized by UGC with a minimum of 55 percent marks. Such postgraduate degrees obtained from foreign universities will also be considered as equivalent degrees in India. Specialization: Sanskrit Sahitya Selection Criteria: Entrance Test - PET
M.Phil	Duration: 2 Years Eligibility: Must have obtained a master's or equivalent postgraduate degree in a basic or allied subject from any university, recognized university, or private university established by law and recognized by UGC with a minimum of 55 percent marks. Such postgraduate degrees obtained from foreign universities will also be considered as equivalent degrees in India. Specializations: Sanskrit Sahitya (Sanskrit Literature), Navya Vyakarana (Newlywed), Jyotish (Astrology), Yoga, Hindi and Bhasha Vigyan (Hindi and Language School)

Admission to all courses at Uttarakhand Sanskrit University (USVV) is granted based on the merit obtained in the respective qualifying examinations.

For Ph.D. admissions, candidates are required to take the Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET), and the selection will be made based on their performance in this examination.

Candidates who have successfully cleared the JRC-NET or NET (National Eligibility Test) or SET Uttarakhand (State Eligibility Test) conducted by the University Grants Commission, or those holding an M.Phil degree in the relevant subject, are exempted from the PET. Their selection will be determined through a subsequent Personal Interview.

The admission process involves an evaluation of marks scored in qualifying examinations, followed by a final personal interview that plays a crucial role in the selection process.

All applications must be submitted online. To apply for any course (Certificate, Diploma, UG, PG, M.Phil, Ph.D.), students are required to download the application form from the official website. • Income Certificate signed by a Revenue Officer with a rank not less than that of a Deputy Tahsildar
