The V. V. DDC (Dewey Decimal Classification) system is used for classifying the books and the activities of the library are automated with “KOHA” software. The library also provides OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) the library also has a good collection of books and CDs in the fields of Commerce, Computer Science, Geography, Mathematics, Electronics, English Literature, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Miscellaneous. The college also provides 15 more journals, 25 more periodicals, 5 newspapers, copies of dissertations and projects of past years, and our college yearly magazine named “PRANAVAM” is also included in the collection of the library. The students can access e-resources through net-connected computer systems.

The books are provided by the librarian according to the request of the students for a period of 15 days. Entry to the library is only for the students and staff of the college. The users of the library must want to keep the library rules and it’s a place of calm and peace. Daily quotes about reading are written on the blackboard of the library.
