VEMU Institute of Technology B.Tech/ B.Tech Lateral Entry Eligibility Criteria:

1. Candidate who seeks admission in B.Tech courses must have passed the 10+2 examination or passed the 2-year intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in the prescribed group subjects i.e. Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry are eligible.

2. The diploma holder candidate who seeks admission in 2nd-year B.Tech courses through Lateral Entry must have passed the 10th examination with at least 50% marks in the prescribed group subjects.

3. SC/ST candidates are given a relaxation of 10%.

4. Candidates must be eligible to take AP EAMCET for B.Tech and AP ECET for B.Tech Lateral Entry.

VEMU Institute of Technology B.Tech/ B.Tech Lateral Entry Selection Process:

1. Considering 12th result marks and subsequent rank in AP EAMCET for B.Tech and 10th result marks and subsequent rank in AP ECET for lateral entry.

2. Admission for Category A Seats for B.Tech: 70% of the offered seats are called Category-A - A seats or convener seats for which admissions are conducted by the Convener - EAMCET followed by web counseling.

3. Admission for Category B Seats for B.Tech: 30% of the offered seats are called Category- -B seats or Management Quota Seats, filled by the management of the college following the guidelines stipulated by APSCHE, Hyderabad.

4. Admissions are conducted by the Convener - ECET for Lateral Entry courses followed by web counseling based on the ECET rank of the candidates
