VMU Students are working with reputed institutes like Apollo and Fortis. For engineering, companies like Infosys visit the campus. The institute provides its students with training opportunities and the location of the campus gives a boost to the search process as many reputed companies have established offices there.

Every year a number of students in the final year of their studies get placed in the public and private sectors. In 2019-20 placements, large numbers of students got placed and many chose higher studies. As per the Vinayaka Missions University placement report (NIRF) 2019-20, both undergraduate and postgraduate students were placed. The maximum number of students placed (541) were from undergraduate 4-year programmes. They got a median salary of Rs. 2,00,000 per annum. At Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation placements 2019-20, the highest median salary of Rs. 11,00,000 was offered to students of PG 3 courses.
