Language Laboratory (VGEC, Ahmedabad)

VGEC language laboratory is working in E-block (ground floor) which is well-equipped with computers, internet facility, headsets with mic, projector and the most importantly space for group/pair activities for discussion, role plays, etc.

Computer Center (VGEC, Ahmedabad)

(VGEC, Ahmedabad) Common Computer Center is computing facility with 100 Desktop Computers with latest configuration connected in LAN with Internet connection. This center is mainly useful for students centric activities like placement, common online test, performing workshops on IITB Virtual LAB facilities etc.

Seminar Hall  (VGEC, Ahmedabad)

The well planned seminar hall have flexible seminar chair with 75 students capacity. A.C. Seminar hall having latest audio-visual sound system and it gives opportunities to student for their seminar, workshop & expert lectures. Online booking system is developed for booking by faculties of various departments. It is also used for DPC review and meetings.

Vishveshvariya Auditorium

The well-planned AC Auditorium hall has flexible seminar chairs with a capacity of 180 students equipped with latest ICT enabled audio-visual sound system for organizing an expert talk, workshops, and seminars. The important feature of the system is "online booking system" to register the auditorium for various departmental activities.

Chanakya Hall

The well-planned conference room is an A.C. hall with a seating capacity of 40 members. It is equipped with ICT enabled the audio-visual sound system utilized for various central meetings and discussion among the departments.

Homi Bhabha Seminar Hall 

The well planned seminar hall have flexible seminar chair with 100 students capacity. Seminar hall having latest audio-visual sound system and it gives opportunities to student for their seminar, workshop & expert lectures. Online booking system is developed for booking by faculties of various departments. It is also used for DPC review and meetings.

Medical Facilities 

The institute has two boy’s hostels and one girl’s hostel on the campus. The institute provides medical facilities to students while they are on campus.

In case of other medical emergencies, the 108 facility from the state government is available to reach to government or private hospitals. There are many government hospitals available in Ahmedabad including Asia's largest hospital Civil hospital at Asarwa. There are many private hospitals available within the vicinity of 1-2 km of the campus.

Transportation (VGEC, Ahmedabad)

1. The institute is located on Koba-Visat Highway which connects Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. The college is well connected with both cities by various modes of transportation.
2. AMTS and BRTS: AMTS city bus and BRTS bus facilities are available to connect almost all parts of Ahmedabad. The direct buses are available from Railway station, Bus Station, Airport to the institute.
   
3. State transport: The buses of the Gujarat State Road & Transport Corporation (GSRTC) stop near the gate of the institute connecting all parts of the Gujarat State.
4. Railway: The major railway stations in Ahmedabad are Kalupur Central Railway Station, Sabarmati Railway Station and Maninagar Railway Station. The institute is well connected with all three railway stations through AMTS and BRTS buses.
5. Airport: The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport is located approximately 12 kms from the institute. The institute is well connected with the airport through local transport services.
