VIT Pune admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level courses. Vishwakarma Institute of Technology admission to undergraduate courses is based on the marks obtained by candidates in the MHT-CET/JEE Main. VIT Pune UG Admissions

Only 1 UG course is offered at the institute i.e B.Tech, and it is offered across a total of 9 specialisations. The duration of all the undergraduate programmes is four years.

VIT Pune UG Admissions

• Candidates seeking admission must first meet the eligibility criteria.

• Eligible candidates must apply for admission by filling the online application form.

• Applicants need to appear for the MHT-CET/JEE Main.

• Maharashtra candidates need to appear for MHT-CET and all India candidates are required to sit for the JEE Main.

• Next Merit list for JEE Main and MHT CET is released. 

• Candidates then need to register and participate in CAP conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.

• Next, candidates are required to fill the college and course choice in order of their preference.  

• Seats are allotted to candidates on the basis of their entrance exam score and choices filled by them. 

• Next, they need to visit the institute and complete the VIT Pune admission process by submitting the documents and paying the course fee.

VIT Pune PG Admissions

At the PG level, the institute offers M.Tech and M.C.A course. VIT Pune M.Tech course is offered across 5 specialisations. The courses are offered for a duration of 2 years.

VIT Pune M.Tech Admission Process

• Candidates seeking admission must meet the VIT Pune eligibility criteria and apply for admission by filling the online application form.

• The eligible candidates need to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) entrance exam.

• Next, the GATE cutoff is released.

• Candidates who clear the cut-off need to register for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra.

• Candidates need to fill the college and course of their choice in preference order.

• Based on choice filled and the marks of students in GATE exam, merit list is released. 

• The merit list contains students' scores, courses and college allotted to them.

• Candidates who are allotted VIT Pune need to visit the campus.

• The last step in the VIT Pune admission process is submission of documents and payment of course fee. 

VIT Pune M.C.A Admission Process

• Candidates seeking admission must meet the eligibility criteria.

• Eligible candidates must appear for MAH MCA CET.

• A cut-off list is released by the college.

• After that, the selected candidates must register themselves and appear for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by State CET Cell.

• Admissions will be offered to candidates through the Centralised Admission Process based on rank obtained in MAH MCA CET.

• After the final selection, candidates must visit the college for verification of documents and payment of VIT Pune fees.
