Facilities and Infrastructure

The Vivekananda Institute of Advanced Studies, Kolkata has a sprawling campus that is well-maintained and provides a serene environment for learning. Boys Hostel

The College has magnificently designed separate hostels for boys each with all modern facilities, for boarding and other recreational activities. The hostels have their mess to provide good and hygienic food to the students. Well-furnished and spacious rooms equipped with a bed, a study table, a study chair, wardrobe. There are hostel committees in each hostel having 2 boarders’ representatives with the hostel superintendent.

Girls Hostel

The College has magnificently designed separate hostels for Girls each with all modern facilities, for boarding and other recreational activities. The hostels have their mess to provide good and hygienic food to the students. Well-furnished and spacious rooms equipped with a bed, a study table, a study chair, wardrobe. Library

The VIAS has a Library that is advanced and well-equipped. The library has been semi-computerized from its inception. A wide variety of textbooks, handbooks, and national & international journals are available in the Reference Section. The library provides OPAC, Internet, Reprographics & CD-ROM to all users. The book bank facility is available to all the students. An E-journal facility is also available providing a competitive edge to the students and staff.
