It has established rules and procedures, systems and services, and an atmosphere that facilitates the creation of new knowledge. It has an excellent collection of printed and electronic books, magazines, and other educational resources. 

It has an infrastructure adapted to its needs, has computerized its entire operation with LIBSOFT software, and offers access to the collection through an online public catalog (OPAC).  The Central Library is well equipped with all modern facilities and resources. VKCET is firmly committed to providing its users with a world-class facility. The library system of the VKCET consists of a central library and five departmental libraries. All students, teachers, and employees of the institute have the right to use the services of the library by purchasing a library subscription. In addition to a large collection of books in the fields of technology, science, and humanities, the library offers library services in various locations. 

Hostel Facilities

VKCET Hostels Facilities Separate dormitories for boys and girls were established on campus in a warm atmosphere under the exceptional care of the residents. Each hostel has adequate study facilities as well as entertainment, sports, and other extracurricular activities. 

Transportation Facilities

VKCET Facilities College Bus Fleets run daily to and from Uni to various destinations such as Trivandrum, Kollam, Kottarakkara, Anchalummodu, Chavara, Kundara, Nedumankavu, Meeyannoor, Pakalkurr, Veliyam, Chenkotukonam, Sreekariyam, Pothencodu, Kazhakkootam, Attingal, Kallambalam, Varkala, etc.  There are frequent private buses and KSRTCs to famous places like Varkala, Attingal, Paravur, Kottiyam, Chatannur, Kundara, Kadakkal, Nilamel, Kilimanoor, etc. The college is approximately 23 km from Kollam and 40 km from Trivandrum.
