 FOR ADMISSION TO FIRST YEAR B.Tech

The eligibility criteria for seeking admission to the first year of the four-year degree course in Engineering/Technology for the academic year 2023-24 are as given below:

"Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std XII.) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ biotechnology/ biology/ technical vocational subjects and secured minimum 50% (45% in case of Backward class categories and Person with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) marks in the above subjects taken together"

and

Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the competent authority.

OR

The candidate should have passed with a minimum of 50% marks in the diploma course in Engineering or Technology of the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education or an autonomous institution to which autonomy has been granted by the State of Maharashtra OR diploma recognized as equivalent to the diploma awarded by MSBTE with English medium.

DIRECT ADMISSION TO SECOND-YEAR

A) For Diploma Students

The candidate should have passed

Diploma course in Engineering/Technology in 50%(Open Category) and 45% for backward class category with English medium, awarded by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE or autonomous institution to which autonomy has been granted by the State of Maharashtra or diploma recognized as equivalent to the State of Maharashtra or diploma recognized as equivalent to the diploma awarded by MSBTE for seeking direct admission to second-year B.Tech (3rd semester) in corresponding degree as prescribed by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra

B) For B.Sc Students

Candidate should have passed with 50% aggregate marks in B.sc candidate must have mathematics & physics in HSSC syllabus
