VASC, Salem Placement Cell
The VASC Institute assists students to explore possibilities for placement by inviting various firms to campus for recruitment of students in their final year of their programmed and will likely be graduating at the end of the academic year.
The final placements at the Institute are the result of a very regular interaction with industry as well as constant career counseling for students. The process of placing students is handled through the Placement Committee headed by the Placement Officer who is the Chairperson.
The activities of the Placement Cell:
- Provide training for students in the areas of personality development, communication skills, and other abilities to prepare them to face the Interview process.
- Preparation of a Placement Brochure to be used for placement.
- Pre-placement visit (PPV) to the businesses.
- Networking, communication, and building relationships with potential recruiters
- Invitation to prospective recruiters to come visit the Institute.
- Conducting the placement processes and following-up actions.
