VMR Polytechnic Eligibility

1. Candidates who have passed or are appearing for S.S.C. must take the Common Entrance Examination for Polytechnic (POLYCET). POLYCET applications are available at any polytechnic institution in the state.

2. Government authorities allocate seats in diploma courses online based on POLYCET ranks. Admission schedules are published in daily newspapers, and candidates can secure admission by paying the required fee at the admission camp.

3. If seats remain vacant after the initial admission process, the polytechnic management can fill them, prioritizing POLYCET rank holders and then S.S.C. passed candidates.

VMR Polytechnic Application Process

Application Process: Candidates can obtain the application form from any polytechnic institution within the state. For diploma courses, candidates apply through the online mode. Selection Procedure:

For Category-A seats:

1. 70% of seats are filled by the Convenor of EAMCET Admissions based on students' ranks in entrance examinations.
   
   
2. Candidates must have passed the qualifying exam (10+2) or its equivalent.

For Category-B seats:

1. 30% of seats are filled at the college level following guidelines issued by the State Government.
   
   
2. Admissions are based on the college's discretion, considering various factors such as academic performance, extracurricular activities, and interview performance.

1. S.S.C. certificate or equivalent examination mark sheet.
