The Placement Cell at the World University of Design plays an essential function in guiding students to promising career options. Through strong relationships with external institutions, the Cell assists WUD students in making educated career decisions that are in line with their personal goals and dreams. Career planning, an essential component that is part of the Design curriculum is done with aplomb through the WUD Placement Cell. Students get instruction in the most effective industry methods, which prepares them to enter the workforce.
The recruitment unit within the World University of Design ensures a smooth transition from the student experience into the workplace. CAAS (Career Advisory and Augmentation School) offers vital assistance in identifying the most promising career opportunities for students. Each WUD student has the chance to be involved in projects for graduation and placements. The duration of these projects is of between 16 and 18 weeks beginning in January of every academic year and running through the last semester. This program, developed in collaboration with The World University of Design, will help students successfully enter the workplace. Every student is supported through their work through the guidance of an academic mentor as well as an industry mentor and is aimed at developing independent skills and applying the knowledge of their learning.
