For B.Tech admission at YIT Jaipur, candidates are selected based on their performance in the 10+2 examination or JEE Main scores. The final admission decision is made by the Centralised Admission Committee of the Government of Rajasthan in conjunction with the institute.
Similarly, admission to the M.Tech program at YIT Jaipur is based on the candidate's percentage in B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc./M.C.A. The selection process is overseen by the Centralised Admission Committee of RTU (Rajasthan Technical University) and the institute. Candidates with a valid GATE scorecard are also eligible for M.Tech admission.
In both cases, the admission process is conducted by the guidelines set by the respective admission committees, ensuring transparency and fairness in the selection process.
B.Tech (1st year): Candidates must have completed Senior Secondary or (10+2) with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Computer Science with a minimum of 45% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates). Additionally, candidates must have qualified JEE Mains.
B.Tech (2nd year LEEP): Candidates should hold a Diploma in Engineering from an AICTE-approved institute with a minimum of 45% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates) or B.Sc. (with Mathematics) with 45% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates) from Universities in Rajasthan. Direct admission to B.Tech second year is applicable only for eligible candidates.
M.Tech: Applicants must have completed B.E./B.Tech with a minimum of 55% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates). Candidates with M.Sc. or M.C.A are eligible for certain M.Tech programs as determined by RTU, provided they have a valid and qualified GATE scorecard and 55% marks in M.Sc. or M.C.A.
Admission Procedure:
B.Tech:
Admission is based on 10+2/JEE merit and will be determined by the centralized Admission Committee of the Government of Rajasthan and the institute. Selected candidates are required to report to the Admission Committee at the institute for form filling and fee deposition by the scheduled date.
M.Tech:
Admission is based on B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc./M.C.A percentage and will be determined by the CAM process of the centralized admission committee of RTU and the institute.
Fee Structure:
For B.Tech (4 Years) and M.Tech (2 Years), the current annual fee, along with Caution Money (Refundable) or as per the Government of Rajasthan Amendment for the concerned session.
