Yashwantrao Mohite College of Arts Science and Commerce is a constituent college of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU) Pune. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). In 2019, the College was ranked 54 for Arts and 63 for Commerce by India Today. Presently, the College offers UG and PG programmes in Arts, Science, Commerce and Photography. These courses are offered under four departments, namely the Department of Arts, Department of Commerce, Department of Science and Department of Photography.

At the UG level, the College offers four programmes, namely BA, BCom, BSc and B.Lib.I.Sc. The College follows a Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) for all the programmes. Under CBCS, each programme has allotted some credits and students need to secure minimum credits to pass a particular semester. The College offers a BSc programme with a duration of three years. The programme is offered in two different specialisations. It covers subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Environment Studies, Microbiology, Statistics and more. BSc admissions are purely done on a merit basis.
