Yuvakshetra Institute of Management Studies(YIMS) is blessed with a well-furnished and ventilated canteen with all amenities. YIMS has two well-equipped, spacious canteen which offers refreshment and meals for the college community. One is located in the Christ Hill Jubilee Block and the other is in the Hotel Management Block with sufficient seating capacity for the students. The staff and provided with quality nourishment, prepared in a modernized and well equipped kitchen. High standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained in the college canteen as well as in the kitchen.
The Yuvakshetra Institute Of Management Studies health and safety of students are of paramount importance to us and there is no presumption of dearth or negligence in these issues. For students to stay fit and healthy, the college hostel is equipped with a gymnasium. It is open both in the morning and evening hours and may be used by the students and staff. There are karate and yoga training also.
The college has two chapels: one situated in the Christ Hill block and the other at the Yuvakshetra training center. Holy mass is celebrated in the chapel at the training center on the First Friday of every month. Attendance is compulsory for Catholic students. Other Christian students are also encouraged to attend the mass. All students are welcome to enter the chapel and be in the presence of the divine mercy. The chapel acts as a vehicle of peace amidst the hectic schedule for the students as well as teachers.
Digitalization is an important factor in the growth of every institution. So computer labs in every higher education institution are a must. Yuvakshetra has mainly three functioning computer labs. Two are available in the Christ Hill block and one in the Administrative Block. All the computer labs are fully functional and air-conditioned.
This Yuvakshetra Institute Of Management Studies computer lab is situated in the Administrative Block and is available for common use. It has 70+ computers and the lab is situated adjacent to the office. They have an attached IT team who are qualified to provide basic and necessary IT support.
The Two labs in the Christ Hill block are situated on the first floor above the Chapel. One lab is mostly used by the Computer Science department and has 53+ computer software is used computer Science students about the latest software and for lab practicals. There are two computers for teachers with advanced software theories used for their use and instructional purposes.
The next lab adjacent to it is used for the common purpose of all the departments in Christ Hill block and has 38+ computers.
All the computer labs have whiteboards and a projector, that can be used to teach the students. Students can use the labs for educational purposes and for accessing information. The computers are all well designed and of the latest technology. Each computer can be used separately by each student. It is open for students even after college hours.
The Hotel Management department is one of the oldest departments of the college. The courses offered in this department are Catering Science and Culinary Arts. Training Kitchen and Restaurant belongs to the Department of Hotel Management. The students are proworkingsraining and given practical experiences to help them understand the working of the Hotel Management industry. The students learning the course have to know about four main elements or sections t, that come under Hotel Management that is front office, housekeeping, service and food production.
Effective transportation facility is one of the backbone of the growth and development of an institution. Yuvakshetra Institute of Management Studies(YIMS) owns the largest fleet of lathe test-modelled buses which are comfortable for students and staff at the college. InTonsure cozy traveling has 9 buses and they are all well-equipped with modern technology. According to the ratio of the students, seats are arranged without overloading the vehicle. Students from remote places can enjoy traveling to the college. These buses are regularly serviced and it is following all the rules and regulations of the Traffic Department of Police. Transportation from Wadakkanchery, Mangalamdam, Shornur, Pathiripala, Cherpulassery, Palakkad, Kanjikode, and Mannarkkad is now available to our college. Because of the capacious facility, more than 80% of students depend on the college bus for their studies.

The training center provides a lot of training programs which include pre-marriage course, Spoken English course,e, etc. which are highly demanded; it is an ideal venue for symposiums, group discussions, residential camps, Jesus Youth gatherings,s and more; and provides ample facilities like kitchen and even has a chapel. Ever since the beginning, the training center has always focused on growth, holistic development, inculcation of values and morals in the trainees, and keeping up with the exemplary standards of Yuvakshetra.
