AIBE XIX 2024

All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 19 Exam 2024 is scheduled for December 22, 2024. AIBE 19 Exam 2024 should be conducted in the Pen and Paper mode. Students appearing for AIBE 19 must strictly adhere to the dress code and other instructions issued by the Bar Council of India for exam day. Non-adherence to these rules would render the candidate ineligible and thereby disqualify him/her from sitting for the examination. The BCI has also published a list of objects that are strictly prohibited to take with them into the examination hall. This article on Universitykart covers both the AIBE dress code as well as the list of objects that are prohibited from carrying into the exam centre.

AIBE XIX 2024: Important Guidelines

The dress code for the AIBE 19 (XIX) 2024 exam is to be followed in such a way that all candidates are comfortable and secure. These are the key guidelines on AIBE XIX 2024 what to wear and what not to are as follows:

1. Comfortable Clothing: Wear comfortable and simple attire suitable for sitting for long hours. Avoid clothing with excessive patterns, writing, or symbols that might distract or violate the exam rules.

2. Clothing Type: Candidates should put on formal or semi-formal attire such as shirts, trousers, skirts, or simple dresses. Jeans and t-shirts are generally okay but better to keep it very simple and professional.

3. Footwear: Wear closed-toe shoes (e.g., sneakers, flats, or formal shoes). Avoid sandals, slippers, or high heels for comfort and security reasons.

4. No Accessories: Candidates should avoid wearing excessive jewellery, watches, or big accessories because they might be not allowed in the examination hall for security reasons. Candidates should avoid headgear such as hats, caps, and scarves unless due to religious or medical reasons.

5. No Electronics: Electronic devices, including smartwatches, mobile phones, or Bluetooth devices, should not be worn or taken into the exam hall.

6. Weather-Appropriate Attire: Wear appropriate attire according to the weather conditions, but not bulky, which may cause inconvenience to the examination process. Light jackets or sweaters can be put on but must be removable for security checks.

7. Religious or Cultural Attire: If you have religious clothing - like a headscarf, a turban, or cultural particular clothes, be sure it complies and doesn't hinder the exam itself.
