Assam HS Exam Pattern has been released by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) on the official website. The Assam HS exam pattern for 2024-25 includes Mathematics, Accounts, Chemistry, Biology and other subjects. The Assam AHSEC exam pattern will have four sections: objective type, very short answer, short answer and long answer questions. Each subject will have a maximum of 16 questions. The Assam 12th class exam pattern will be the same for both compulsory and optional subjects.
Some AHSEC subjects involve internal assessment components that contribute to the final marks. Students need to carry the Assam HS Admit Card 2025 to appear for the board exams. To pass a subject, students must score a minimum of 30% in theory exams and 40% in practical exams.The important thing is that there is no negative marking in the AHSEC exam.
The board will conduct the Assam HS exam in February 2025 (Expected). Before preparing for the board exams, students should check the Assam HS exam pattern 2024-25 thoroughly to understand the marking scheme and type of questions.

Students will have to study two core subjects for AHSEC Class 12: English and a modern Indian language. Also, they must choose three optional subjects. Each optional subject is worth a total of 100 marks, with 70 marks allotted for the theoretical exam and 30 marks for the practical exam.
