AMIE exam:
"Associate Member of the
Institution of Engineers" is the full title of the AMIE examination. The
Indian Institution of Engineers issues the professional certification known as
AMIE. B Tech is the same as AMIE. Nevertheless, it is ongoing education. This indicates
that working engineering professionals should pursue AMIE. If you pass Section
A and want to apply for Section B, you have to fill out a certificate of job

Time period required to complete AMIE
The IEI stipulates a maximum of six
years for completing AMIE A in order to pass Section A, and another six years
for passing Section B. Annual exams are held in June and December. You can only
test in four subjects at once. You must apply for re-registration if you are unable
to pass each section within the allotted time.

I Technician Staff:
Candidates
who pass the Standard XII Examination (45% minimum aggregate) are eligible to
become Technician Members immediately.
Senior Technicians from Group II:
Must be at least 18 years old on the application
date for selection or transfer.
He
or she should be an engineer by trade and work for a Corporate Member or
someone who has the qualifications to be elected as a Corporate Member.
Additionally, the candidate should work toward meeting the requirements for
Corporate Membership (temporary unemployment is not a barrier to election).
The
candidate must have passed a diploma in engineering or technology or an
equivalent exam recognized by the Council, or be exempt from passing Section A
of the Institution of Engineers exam in the non-diploma stream, as recognized
by the Council.

Grading system
What are the prospects after passing AMIE?
You will become an IEI Corporate Member after passing the
AMIE exams.
You can take the M.E. or M.Tech. GATE exams. courses;
you can now work as a consultant in your chosen engineering field; you can
participate in a number of competitive exams, such as You could be promoted in
numerous government, private, and public sector departments with IES, IAS, and
MBA degrees. You could also apply for higher positions.
The Engineering Profession's Practice With a Chartered
Engineer's Certificate from the IEI, you can work independently as an
engineering consultant both in India and abroad. When working as a Value and
Loss Assessor for a variety of government agencies and financial institutions,
this certification adds value. After paying the required fee, Corporate Members
are eligible to receive a Chartered Engineer certificate.
(4) AMIE EXAM 2023 Application form
The Institution of Engineers, India (IEI)
administers the Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE)
Program and Examination. A degree in AMIE is recognized by the AICTE, UPSC,
SSC, Central Government Departments, State Governments, and other organizations
as equivalent to an engineering degree.
