(1) About BITSAT exam

The Birla Institute of Technology and Science administers the BITSAT to select applicants for its integrated first degree programs in science, engineering, and pharmacy. Students can apply for admission at one of the BITS campuses in Hyderabad, Goa, or Pilani. The BITSAT is a university-level entrance exam for B. Pharm, B.E., and M.Sc. programs.

(3) BITSAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria for candidates

Before applying for the BITSAT 2023 exam, candidates must meet the following minimum eligibility requirements:

With the exception of B.Pharm:

• Those who have completed their 12th grade or an equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as required subjects may apply. Additionally, candidates should be fluent in English.

• Candidates must have scored at least 60% in each of their individual Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and a minimum of 75% overall.

• Those preparing for the 12th class may also apply.

For the B.Pharm:

• The applicants must have passed the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology sections of the 12th grade or an equivalent exam from a recognized board, and they must also be proficient in English.

• People who have a PCM can apply to pharmacy school.

• To score, you must earn at least 75% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology, and you must earn 60% in each of these subjects individually.

Interested students can submit an application form online at bitsadmission.com to register for the BITSAT exam. The BITS official website will host the BITSAT 2023 application form.

How do I apply for the BITSAT in 2023?

• Visit the BITSAT official website.

• After that, register before beginning the application process.

• Candidates must pay the application fee and submit a photo and signature in the desired format.

• Candidates, please ensure that the scanned images of their photograph and signature are uploaded in JPG or JPEG format.

• Photographs must have a size that falls somewhere in the range of 1 KB to 30 KB.

• Candidates can submit three distinct preferences for the exam center if they provide all of the necessary information.

• Submit the application form and print a copy for future reference.

The following are additional application-related guidelines:

• In order to be considered for the position, applicants must complete all application procedures, including exam registration, exam selection, document upload, application verification, and fee payment.

• Candidates are required to include their email address and other contact information on the application form during the registration process. If you submit incorrect information, it will result in a correction.

• The fee can be paid in any way, including through net banking, credit cards, debit cards, and offline methods.

• Candidates will receive all pertinent application form information on their registered ID and phone number.

• Since a hard copy of the completed application form will also be required in the future, candidates should not forget to bring it with them.

(5) BITSAT 2023 Exam Pattern

The BITSAT 2023 exam will be computer-based and online, and candidates will have three hours to complete it.

• The exam will be conducted in English, and all questions will be multiple-choice.

• The exam will consist of 150 questions in total.

• The question paper will consist of four distinct sections.

• Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English proficiency, and logical reasoning will all be on the exam.

BITSAT 2023 syllabus will be based on the concepts studied by candidates in class 11th and 12th. The detailed syllabus for the exam is mentioned below:

Physics: Units & Measurement, Kinematics, Newton’s Laws of Motion, Impulse and Momentum, Rotational Motion, Work and Energy, Gravitation, Mechanics of Solids and Fluids, Waves, Heat and Thermodynamics, Oscillations, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effect of Current, Electromagnetic Induction, etc.

Chemistry: States of Matter, Chemical Bonding & Molecular Structure, atomic structure, Physical and Chemical Equilibrium, Hydrogen and s-block elements, p- d- and f-block elements, Principles of Organic Chemistry and Hydrocarbons, etc.

Mathematics: Algebra, Trigonometry, Two-dimensional Coordinate Geometry, Three-dimensional Coordinate Geometry, Differential calculus, Ordinary Differential Equations, Probability, Linear Programming, Mathematical modeling, etc.

Biology: Diversity in Living World, Cell: The Unit of Life; Structure and Function, Genetics and Evolution, Structure and Function – Plants, Structure, and Function – Animals, Reproduction, Growth and Movement in Plants, Reproduction and Development in Humans, Ecology and Environment, Biology and Human Welfare, & Biotechnology and its Applications.

English Proficiency: Grammar, Vocabulary, Analogy, Reading Comprehension, and Composition.

Logical Reasoning: Verbal Reasoning: Classification, Analogy, Logical Deduction – Reading Passage, Chart Logic ETC. Nonverbal reasoning – Pattern Perception, Figure Matrix, Paper Cutting, Rule Detection, etc.

(7) BISAT 2023 Exam Center

(8) BITSAT 2023 Admit Card

When applying for the exam admit card for 2023, candidates are required to bring a printed copy of the same. Candidates who do not have the admit card will not be permitted to take the test. All details can be found on our official website.

How Do I Get My Hands on the BITSAT 2023 Admit Card?

• Visit the BITSAT official website.

• Select the Admit Card-displaying link from the homepage.

• Candidates are required to enter their user ID and password on a login page that opens after clicking on the same.

• Click the "login" button.

• Carefully cross-check each piece of information.

• Download the document and print a copy of it.

(9) BITSAT 2023 Result

The BITSAT 2023 results will appear on the computer screen as soon as the test is finished. BITSAT results are not released separately by BITS Pilani. Along with the score, the result will be shown in terms of the total number of correct and incorrect answers. On the day after the test, candidates can also view their BITSAT score report on the BITS admissions website. A copy of the candidate's BITSAT score report can be printed for future reference.

(9) BITSAT 2023 Admission Process

After passing BITSAT 2023, applicants are required to submit an application detailing their preferences for various BITS degree courses and their 12th grade marks. The shortlisted candidates will be offered a seat in the course of their choice based on the information they provided in the admissions application, their eligibility, and the scores they received on the entrance exam.

BITSAT Merit List 2023

A candidate's performance on the written exam will determine their admission to BITSAT 2023 courses. To be included in the merit list, candidates must score the lowest possible number of points. Only those applicants who were included on the merit list will be considered for admission. The authority responsible for conducting the exam will release two distinct merit lists, one for the B.Pharm program and one for other programs.

(10) BITSAT 2023 Cut off

BITS Pilani will announce the BITSAT 2023 Cutoff following the BITSAT Counseling process's conclusion. Students who score above 250 on the BITSAT exam can get into an integrated B.E. course at one of the BITS campuses, while students who want to get into a B.Pharm program must at least score above 170. The average BITSAT score that candidates need to get into one of the campuses' courses is shown in the table below.
