CAT Eligibility Criteria 2024

In short, the CAT notification specifies the eligibility criteria for the CAT exam which the candidates must check before filling the application form on or before the date of CAT 2024. So candidates will know who can apply for the CAT exam 2024. The official notification of CAT also states that qualifying for the exam will not guarantee them a seat in the Indian Institute of Management

Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks or equivalent CGPA (45% SC/ST/PwD).
Candidates who are in the final year of their bachelor's degree/equivalent examination and are awaiting results after completing the requirements are eligible to apply.
SC/ST/PwD candidates should have a minimum of 45%. For General, EWS and NC-OBC candidates the minimum is 50%.
